


State Competition Requirements
The Mississippi Miss Hospitality Competition will return to a full, in-person experience in 2021, adhering to all local, state, and national guidelines in a safe, responsible manner.
- Local contestants must attend Contestant Workshop on May 22, 2021 in Hattiesburg.

Local contestants must attend the entirety of preliminary and on-stage competition in Hattiesburg from July 11 – 17, 2021. Housing, transportation, and an exciting line-up of events will be provided.

Each contestant must submit her Official Competition Packet in a single file along with registration fee of $300 by May 14, 2021. A $50 late fee will be charged for packets received after this date. This will be strictly enforced.
- Contestants must sell at least four (4) full pages of advertising in the Mississippi Miss Hospitality program book.
- If a contestant is currently enrolled in an out-of-state college or university and wins the state title, she must immediately enroll in a college or university in Mississippi. A scholarship will be provided.
- Contestants must do their own hair and makeup at the State Competition. No one will be allowed in the accommodations or backstage prior to competition.

Contestants must appoint a Little Miss Hospitality to serve alongside her during her reign and provide the Little Miss’ information to the State Office by March 26, 2021.
