My first full day in Washington, D.C. was one to r

My first full day in Washington, D.C. was one to remember! 🇺🇸

We started the day at The People’s House, where we got a behind-the-scenes look at the White House through an interactive experience. We also had the chance to visit the World War II Memorial. It was such a moving tribute to the men and women who served our country and a reminder of the sacrifices they made to protect our nation’s freedom.

After lunch at Founding Farmers, I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with Visit Mississippi at the Mississippi booth during the Great American State Fair. I met so many people from all over the country and around the world today, welcomed them to the booth, and helped share Mississippi’s story. I had the best time!!

After a full day of traveling, we enjoyed an incredible dinner at Succotash. Now it’s time to get some rest before a week filled with exploring, celebrating America 250, and, of course, the Great American State Fair.
