It was an honor to witness, in person, the official commemorative artwork celebrating America’s 250th anniversary here in Mississippi, created by the incredibly talented Catherine Ann Herrington Davis.

This is the first thing visitors to our booth see when they walk through the door, and their reactions to this piece have been priceless. I think it’s safe to say they love it just as much as we do!

My first full day in Washington, D.C. was one to r

My first full day in Washington, D.C. was one to remember! 🇺🇸

We started the day at The People’s House, where we got a behind-the-scenes look at the White House through an interactive experience. We also had the chance to visit the World War II Memorial. It was such a moving tribute to the men and women who served our country and a reminder of the sacrifices they made to protect our nation’s freedom.

After lunch at Founding Farmers, I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with Visit Mississippi at the Mississippi booth during the Great American State Fair. I met so many people from all over the country and around the world today, welcomed them to the booth, and helped share Mississippi’s story. I had the best time!!
